About 45 people came in and they installed the carpets in one day, very intensive work.
I can imagine, that while in most cases these subcontractors should do a decent job, since their job performance is tied to their contract with home depot, there are always cases where they will suck.
My experience is that we as consumers at least know a little bit basic knowledge on the service, and if there are problems, report immediately.
One thing good about this arrangement is, that if you do have problems, you can count on a big company like home depot to back you up and get the subcontractors to fix things up.
